Ingredients

  • For the Crust:
  • 1.5 cups almond flour

  • 4 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/3 tsp salt

  • For the Caramel:
  • 1/2 cup runny peanut butter or nut butter of choice, unsalted

  • 1/3 tsp salt

  • 4 tbsp maple syrup

  • Other Ingredients:
  • handful peanuts or nuts of choice roughly chopped

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate

  • 2 tsp olive oil or coconut oil

Directions

  • Line a 9×9 pan with parchment paper. In a bowl combine crust ingredients. They’ll be crumbly. Press crust together in the lined pan in an even layer with your hands. (Pro tip: Wet your hand with water as you press down so the crust doesn’t stick to your hands!). Transfer crust to the freezer to set.
  • While crust is setting, in the same bowl combine caramel ingredients (nut butter, salt, and maple syrup)
  • After about 15 minutes remove the crust from the freezer and spread peanut butter caramel layer over in an even layer. Press nuts into the peanut butter layer. Put it back in the freezer for ~20 minutes.
  • Melt chocolate and oil in a bowl in 30 second intervals stirring in-between until melted.
  • Pour the chocolate over set caramel layer. It’ll set quickly, move fast!
  • Option to top with sea salt. Set back in the freezer for 30 minutes or overnight.
  • Slice and serve! Let it live in the freezer!
