3 large onions (red or white or both), thinly sliced
1 1/3 cups vinegar (I used white)
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2-1 tsp salt
1 bay leaf
1/3 cup honey
Directions
- Add vinegar, water, pepper, salt, honey, and bay leaf to a pot. Bring to a rolling boil over the stove. Reduce to a simmer and add sliced onions. Simmer for 5-10 minutes on low heat.
- Transfer to a glass container with all of the liquid. Cover and refrigerate. Use once cooled!
